James Hadley-Piggin of ALLMATTERSNEURODIVERSE has recently become a JET (Jersey Employment Trust) ambassador and is currently working with the fundraising team on their latest event – ‘the squirrel run’. This is a one mile family fun run starting at Les Jardins de la Mer with registrations opening from 1045 hrs. There will then be an afternoon of live music, food and face painting. Participants are encouraged to dress as squirrels but this isn’t compulsory – face painters will be onsite to paint people’s faces in the morning! Please see the links below for further details.
The event is being put on to support the fantastic services up at Acorn enterprises and the Lowes legacy fund in memory of Dean Lowe and his son whose lives were tragically taken three years ago (Dean was a strong advocate of JET and inclusion).
Time: registration opens from 1045hrs (run starting at 1120hrs)
Cost: £20 for adults, £10 for children (this includes food, entertainment and the run itself)
Fundraising effort: participants are strongly encouraged to raise a minimum of £75 to help raise a grand total of £30,000 which will be split between Acorn enterprises and the Lowes Legacy fund.
