Jersey Cricket will travel to Glasgow for two competitive fixtures against Scotland A
on 25 and 26 August, as the squad steps up its preparations for a busy end to the
international season.
The matches will provide valuable playing time against strong opposition ahead of the
third and final round of the ICC Men’s CWC Challenge League A in October, followed by
the ICC Men’s CWC ODI Playoff Qualifier in December.
Speaking ahead of the fixtures, Director of Cricket, Neil MacRae said:
“Any fixture against a Scotland side provides good, competitive cricket. This is exactly
what we need ahead of a busy end to a long summer of cricket and the tournaments that
lie ahead. The squad is ready to see how they have progressed and to test themselves
against strong opposition.”
