Jersey Men’s cricketers enjoyed great success by remaining unbeaten in the first stage of qualification for the ICC 2028 T20 World Cup.
In their group Jersey beat Switzerland, France, host Cyprus and Croatia to set up a final with Guernsey, who had also topped their group.
In that final Guernsey went into bat first and scored 139 for 5 wickets from their 20 overs. Jersey replied with a nervy “wobble” but persevered to reach their 140 target after 18 overs.
