The Four Nations Series held in Ayr, Scotland was the final instalment of the Swift 4 Nations Beach Sprint and Endurance series. Previous regattas had been held in England, Wales and Jersey.
Jersey rowers performed superbly taking 10 medals in total.
Natacha Searson is aiming to be selected for the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles where Beach Sprint Rowing will be included for the first time. Natacha won a gold in the Senior Mixed Double with James Cox and a silver in the Senior Women’s Solo.
Natacha’s father John Searson also captured a gold medal in the Masters Mixed Doubles in partnership with Sarah Earles.
Rick Rouille had an excellent regatta taking gold with composite crew in the Masters Mixed Quad and Masters Mens Quad, and then another with Tim Fenemore in the Masters Men’s Double.
John Searson won a further gold in the Masters Mixed Double alongside Briony Jones whilst Natacha Searson won bronze in the Senior Mixed Double, partnered up with Cam Buchan.
