The SSE was held in June 2025 and will again take place in June 2026. Thereafter it will be held every 2 or 3 years. It gives the member sports an opportunity to engage with the public either by their participation in the sport (“have a go”), a demonstration or a static information display. The Jersey Sports Council being an umbrella organisation will have little direct contact with participants in any given sport, so any concerns that may arise should initially be raised through the Safeguarding channels of that particular sport. However, should that particular sport not be supportive or the concern raised is in connection with a Jersey Sports Council event, then please do contact the Jersey Sports Council as described in the policy
